Candidates with the following degree holders: Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed), Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Education and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) got fifty percent (50%) cuff off marks.

Candidates, who possess a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), got cutoff marks of forty-five (45%) for the computer-based test.

Other candidates who have the following degree in Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and other science courses got twenty-five percent (25%) cutoff marks.
