About PSRP
The Power Sector Recovery Programme (PSRP) is a programme of interventions approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in March 2017 to reset the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (“NESI”). The Programme is aimed at boosting Nigeria’s economy by rebuilding a functioning and fair power sector.
PSRP is designed to restore the financial viability of the power sector, improve transparency and service delivery, resolve consumer complaints, and reduce losses and energy theft. The Programme consists of series of well-planned policy actions, regulatory, operational, governance, and financial interventions being implemented in partnership with the World Bank and other key stakeholders.
